Germany, Imperial. A Wound Badge, Silver Grade Archive 2nd Edition (1903-1921)(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 37. 89 mm (w) x 42. 81 mm (h), weighing 7. 3 grams, in extremely fine condition.
